As we expand out website, I think that it is important to present a “green philosophy” and to give our readers an informative, accurate account of what is going on the the USA and other parts of the world from a “responsible” viewpoint. We are here to hopefully make you think about your actions and to change your lifestyle towards more eco-friendly, sustainable habits. It’s not hard, and the first person you must work on is yourself. We are one planet, and everything is inter-related. The sooner we realize this, the better off all we will all be. I stumbled on your site while researching the ghost pepper and read a few of your blogs. This one fell under a particular interest. I just wanted to let you know that this was very informative and heartbreaking as well.
I couldn’t agree with your phrase more, “If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.”
What kills me is a story that was told to me a few years ago by a veteran of the navy through conversation about garbage and wildlife. I was told that the submarines, once surfaced, would offload whatever trash that had accumulated on board into the ocean and make some sort of game out of it. This was disturbing, I often wonder if these sort of “practices” are still being carried out to date.
Our oceans are not the only natural resourse that we are slowly killing (via killing ourselves) but our rainforests are in danger as well due to human neglagence. (another major source of oxygen)
Everyone and Everything is inter-related.

Hi Rita,
You have no idea how nice it is to hear words from someone else who cares. Many people live with the idea that by the time anything can be done, they would have left this world. In any of my companies and those I work with, the efforts and morale is to make as much of a difference as possible while we’re here!

Hi Rita,
We all have to do better if we want to keep this world turning. It is so important that people understand and start to live like there is a tomorrow. We are all guilty of this and the first person we have to change is ourself…
