This one fell under a particular interest. I just wanted to let you know that this was very informative and heartbreaking as well. I couldn't agree with your phrase more, "If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem." What kills me is a story that was told to me a few years ago by a veteran of the navy through conversation about garbage and wildlife. I was told that the submarines, once surfaced, would offload whatever trash that had accumulated on board into the ocean and make some sort of game out of it. This was disturbing, I often wonder if these sort of "practices" are still being carried out to date. Our oceans are not the only natural resourse that we are slowly killing (via killing ourselves) but our rainforests are in danger as well due to human neglagence.
